STUDIO POLICY
Attendance: To take full advantage of instruction offered, regular attendance is necessary. Student should arrive no earlier than five minutes before class and come dressed in dancewear. Please be prompt to arrive and prompt to pick up children immediately after class.

Classroom Behavior: No gum, food, beverages, or snacks are allowed in the Dance Studio.
Students should use the bathroom BEFORE class begins.

TUITION SCHEDULE
Tuition at Joy’s Dance Studio is based on an annual fee, which may be paid by the semester (September and January payments) or monthly (first class of each month, September thru May). Your tuition is not related to the number of classes you receive during any given month, it is an annual fee.

Our receptionist, Dollie Carter (Joy’s Mom), is at the desk the first class of each month when tuition is due. There is a $5.00 late charge for late payments. NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be made for missed classes. Make up classes are available.

DANCE ATTIRE

Pre-School, Jazz/Tap 1, Beg., Adv./Beg.—leotard and tights in color of your choice, black tap shoes, white ballet or jazz shoes

Ballet—Black leotard pink tights and pink ballet shoes

Jazz/Tap 2 & 3—Black leotard, black tights, black jazz shoes and black tap shoes

Tumbling—Leotard and tights in the color of your choice, barefoot

Hip Hop—Fitness clothing, barefoot or jazz shoes

Hair must be securely fastened away from face. NO jewelry. Boys wear t-shirt with shorts or warm up pants.

No classes on these days:

Oct 31 — Halloween
Nov 23-25 — Thanksgiving
Dec 26-Jan 6 — Christmas
Feb 20-24 - Winter Break
Apr 9-13 — Spring Break

The above days are the only scheduled holidays. We do have classes on Monday holidays.

Cancellation Policy due to Inclement Weather:

We cancel classes when Hamilton Central School cancels classes or whenever after school activities are cancelled due to inclement weather.
